JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to join their Cybersecurity and Technology Controls team within the Firmwide Technology Resiliency division. As a Lead Security Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering software solutions that prevent misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. The position is part of the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group, which aligns the firm's cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. This group strategically partners with all lines of business to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls, deliver processes efficiently, and drive automation of controls.
Key responsibilities include developing secure production code, creating monitoring tools for controls compliance, conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and working with business leaders to enhance security protocols. The role requires expertise in Python, SQL, and various security tools, along with a strong understanding of financial services IT systems.
This is a High Risk Role (HRR) requiring enhanced pre-hire screening including criminal and credit background checks due to the sensitive nature of cybersecurity functions performed.
