Securities Lending Java Senior Lead Software Engineer

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Java development lead for their Securities Lending Technology Team. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of software engineers in developing and maintaining high-performance financial applications using a variety of technologies. As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Securities Lending Technology Team, your role will involve solving complex business problems through innovative engineering practices. Your deep knowledge and expertise will be applied across all aspects of the software development lifecycle. You will be expected to collaborate continuously with various stakeholders, maintaining a focus on shared objectives.

The role requires strong leadership capabilities to provide direction and coaching for entry-level to mid-level software engineers. You'll be accountable for key decisions affecting team resources, budget, and tactical operations. The position demands expertise in Java development, with particular emphasis on Spring Boot/Spring Framework and Hibernate, along with solid understanding of database systems and messaging platforms.

Key technical requirements include 5+ years of applied experience with Java technologies, hands-on experience in system design and application development, and proficiency with SQL and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS cloud technologies and knowledge of Prime Brokerage and Securities Lending products.
