Senior Manager of Software Engineering

As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank in Markets Securitized Products group, you'll serve in a leadership role providing technical coaching and advisory for multiple technical teams.

The role involves leading a team of approximately 24 entry-level to mid-level software, infrastructure, and DevOps engineers. You'll be responsible for delivering and enhancing operational technology while managing a strong risk & control environment. Your focus will be on eliminating operational risk through automation and process improvement.

As a leader, you'll make decisions that influence team resources, budget, and tactical operations. You'll provide strategic input to leadership regarding technical considerations and operational efficiencies. Creating a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion is a key priority, as is ensuring successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

The position requires 5+ years of software engineering experience plus 2+ years leading technologists. You should have practical cloud native experience, particularly with AWS, and strong knowledge of the financial services industry. Experience in Fixed Income Capital Markets is preferred.
