Software Engineer III - Python / DevOps - Markets Technology - Athens

We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Equities Trading Technology Organization. As a seasoned member of an agile team, you'll design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. The role is based in Athens and involves working closely with the London Business and Global partners.

You'll be responsible for executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting across multiple technical areas. The position requires strong DevOps experience and involves working with production environments, ensuring system stability, and maintaining high performance standards.

The role is part of the Equities Execution Services Technology department, where you'll contribute to critical technology solutions supporting the firm's business objectives. You'll work on integrating and managing updates in production environments, ensuring observability, and optimizing for lowest latency and highest stability.

Key technical aspects include:

• Working with Python and Linux environments
• Managing and monitoring plant capacity and reporting
• Experience with low latency environments and their tuning
• Knowledge of Equities Electronic Trading
• Working with market data feeds and distribution
• Understanding of Fix connectivity and exchange protocols
