Software Engineer III - Senior Associate - Salt Design System

As a Front-end developer on the Digital Platform team, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of the Salt Design System - JP Morgan's next generation UI Toolkit for CIB (Commercial & Investment Bank). The system provides comprehensive core UI components used by different business lines to create reusable patterns for their applications, ensuring consistency and accessibility (WCAG 2.1) through stable design foundations.

You'll be part of a collaborative team that values Open Source and leads CIB UI strategy, actively building a design system while fostering a community around its products. The role offers the opportunity to work with the latest UI technologies and make a real impact in revolutionizing mobile banking.

The ideal candidate will have strong React and TypeScript skills, experience with modern front-end development tools, and a passion for building reusable UI components.
