Software Engineering III - Frontend / React - Markets Technology - Athens

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Equities Trading Technology Organization, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products. The role focuses on frontend development using React and TypeScript, building rich and intuitive user interfaces for trading systems.

The position is based in Athens and involves working closely with the London Business and Global partners. You'll be part of a large engineering team tackling challenging problems ranging from low latency execution to algorithmic trading, and implementing complex functions using modern technologies.

Key responsibilities include developing secure, high-quality production code, creating architecture designs for complex applications, and working with cloud technologies (AWS). You'll help set technical direction, establish best practices, and mentor junior developers while collaborating on code reviews and component development.

The ideal candidate should have strong commercial experience with React/TypeScript, understanding of UI state management (Redux), automated testing (Cypress), and CI/CD practices. Knowledge of financial markets technology is a plus. You'll work in an innovative environment using cutting-edge tools and technologies while collaborating with some of the most experienced professionals in the industry.
