SRE - Lead Software Engineer

As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within CCB, you will be an integral part of an agile team working to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You'll drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, applying deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle diverse challenges across multiple technologies and applications.

Our Consumer & Community Banking Group depends on innovators like you to serve consumers, small businesses, municipalities and non-profits. You'll support the delivery of award-winning tools and services covering everything from personal and small business banking to lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice.

In this role, you will:

• Execute software solutions and technical troubleshooting
• Support building fault-tolerant, scalable applications
• Drive product design and technical operations decisions
• Implement DR strategies for platform resilience
• Automate and manage Kubernetes clusters
• Maintain comprehensive documentation
• Contribute to team culture and diversity

Required skills:

• Strong background in Python, Golang or Java
• Extensive Kubernetes and Cloud Platforms experience
• Expertise in Database Administration, Networking, or Observability
• Independent problem-solving abilities
• Strong debugging skills
