Software Engineer - Cloud DevOps & Security

Julius is an early stage applied AI lab building coding agents with a mission to enable one billion humans to become software creators, focusing on data science and analysis use cases. They're seeking a Software Engineer for Cloud DevOps & Security to help build and scale their cloud infrastructure for code execution.

What you'll do:

• Build infrastructure and security systems that bring AI code capabilities to millions of people
• Obsess over performance and help reach the scale of hundreds of millions of containers per month
• Focus on observability and ensure reliability of infrastructure

Relevant Experience:

• Containerization: Docker, container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing
• Monitoring and logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
• Security best practices for containerized environments

Bonus points for having built an AI side project and enjoying prompting and playing with LLMs.

Julius currently serves over 500,000 remote containers every month and is growing. The team is small and technical, with experience from Uber, Microsoft, and Facebook. They're generating revenue and backed by top investors including AI Grant and founders from notable tech companies.
