Description For Technical Support Engineer, Windows - Mexico

JumpCloud is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide world-class technical support to their customers. This role focuses on Windows platform expertise and requires a highly technical self-starter driven to exceed customer expectations. The position involves resolving high-priority and mission-critical customer issues in a fast-paced environment, working remotely from Mexico.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows systems administration, including Registry Hives, LGPOs, PowerShell, and Windows Server environments. They'll be responsible for managing support tickets, providing technical solutions via multiple channels, and maintaining knowledge base documentation.

Working in a remote-first environment, the role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Learning, Account Management, and Implementation Engineers. The position requires participation in on-call rotations and the ability to handle customer interactions in English.

Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer, Windows - Mexico

  • Provide technical support via email, telephone, chat or remote web session
  • Manage queue of high priority and complex technical issues
  • Reproduce issues in-house and respond to customers
  • Collaborate with teams to provide effective solutions
  • Maintain technical understanding of JumpCloud Platform
  • Develop and maintain internal knowledge base articles
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Collaborate with Account Manager and Implementation Engineers
  • Monitor status updates and external customer responses during outages

Requirements For Technical Support Engineer, Windows - Mexico

  • 3-5 years of system administrator experience in technical, customer-facing position
  • 3 years of experience with mission critical customer issues
  • Proficient level of oral and written English communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows platform
  • Experience with Registry Hives, LGPOs, PowerShell and CMD
  • Experience with Windows Credential Manager, Event Logging
  • Windows Home/Pro/Server Experience
