Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Juul Labs is seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Mountain View or San Francisco, California. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yields, productivity, and error-proofing in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will design and implement new fixtures, oversee processes from initial specification to full deployment, and work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and contract manufacturers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing design reviews of manufacturing equipment and tooling for new product launches
• Determining root causes of equipment and system test failures
• Executing equipment design and process qualification activities
• Supporting the design and building of automation systems for new product launches
• Troubleshooting and analyzing systems to identify and resolve failures
• Developing reports for statistical analysis and optimization of pass/fail criteria

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5-8 years of industry experience in integration, design of equipment, and automation
• Deep expertise in system design, integration, and high-volume manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills in mechanics, materials, and thermal stress
• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks
• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Systems Engineering
