Sr Manufacturing Engineer

Juul Labs is on a mission to impact the lives of one billion adult smokers by eliminating combustible cigarettes. As one of the fastest-growing companies, we're seeking a highly motivated Sr Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering & Sustaining group. This role involves debugging and ramping automation equipment for JUUL's next-generation product, as well as managing sustaining engineering operations for our existing product line at partner contract manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting advanced automation equipment with OEMs
• Implementing equipment design improvements
• Developing and tracking critical machine output metrics
• Training contract manufacturer personnel
• Managing high-volume manufacturing for existing product lines
• Driving key engineering metrics and conducting quality reviews
• Overseeing preventative maintenance and spare parts management

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and expertise in areas such as Design Controls, Lean Manufacturing, and Process Control Concepts. Experience with high-speed automation, robots, vision systems (preferably Omron), and PLC control is crucial.
