K2 Space is seeking a Senior RF Avionics Systems Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the integration and operation of radiofrequency (RF) electronics on some of the largest and most powerful satellites ever deployed in space.
In this role, you will develop, own, test, and integrate new RF and global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), including radios, antennas, and other hardware. You'll work closely with a diverse team of engineers to prototype RF systems and conduct environmental and performance testing to refine your designs. Within your first two years, you'll have the opportunity to see your RF systems launched into space.
We're looking for candidates with a strong background in RF engineering, including experience with link budgets, antenna placement, and RF test equipment. Familiarity with Python or MATLAB is required, and experience with space hardware and environmental testing is a plus.
