Responsibilities For Heat Exchanger Development Engineer

  • Assist in design, analysis, and testing of salt-salt, salt-air, and salt-steam heat exchangers
  • Conduct performance evaluations and thermal-hydraulic analyses
  • Participate in hands-on testing and experimentation with new hardware
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
  • Support technical documentation development

Requirements For Heat Exchanger Development Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering roles focused on heat exchangers
  • Strong understanding of heat transfer principles and fluid dynamics
  • Hands-on experience with hardware testing and experimentation
  • Proficiency with engineering simulation software (ANSYS)
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)
  • Familiarity with ASME Section III and VIII Code
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
