Kairos Power is an innovative nuclear energy technology company focused on developing the fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor (FHR) to enable clean energy transition. They are seeking a Licensing Engineer Intern to contribute to their regulatory licensing programs for the KP-FHR technology.

The intern will conduct research, develop licensing reports, and collaborate with design teams on licensing application documents. Responsibilities For Licensing Engineer Intern

  • Conduct regulatory licensing research on open issues supporting the licensing of the design and technology
  • Develop licensing reports and position papers for work that is conducted
  • Coordinate with internal design teams to prepare and draft content for licensing application documents
  • Provide regular presentation updates on internship work and progress

Requirements For Licensing Engineer Intern

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Industry internships and/or research laboratory experience is a plus
  • Proven team player with excellent verbal and written communication/presentation
  • Ability to work with highly collaborative team
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to proactively collect, manage and transfer knowledge
