Responsibilities For Power Generation Engineer

  • Support analysis of the KP-FHR Power Generation System, focusing on steam cycle and associated equipment
  • Evaluate and vet technical proposals and designs from senior engineers and external vendors
  • Conduct performance simulations and data analysis to optimize system efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Support documentation efforts including reports, specifications, and design drawings
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to system design discussions
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies
  • Provide support in preparing presentations and technical reports

Requirements For Power Generation Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering analysis
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles
  • Proficiency in engineering simulation tools (Aspen Plus, Thermoflex)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
