Kairos Power, an innovative nuclear energy technology company, is revolutionizing clean energy with their fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor (FHR) technology. They're seeking a Senior Process Design Engineer to join their Inventory Management System (IMS) team, focusing on the development of their first low-power demonstration reactor, Hermes.
The role demands expertise in designing and implementing industrial-scale high-temperature process skids for molten salt systems. You'll be responsible for leading detailed IMS system design, including critical components like vessels, piping, and instrumentation interfaces. The position requires strong engineering analysis capabilities and experience with industrial or pilot scale system deployment.
Working directly with the IMS Lead Engineer, you'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across pipe stress analysis, ASME pressure vessel design, process design, reliability, and IC&E engineering.
