Responsibilities For Senior Staff Data Engineer
- Serve as a SME and consultant on new data integrations or pipelines
- Identify, design, and implement data architecture; automate manual processes
- Design processes for data observability, usage metrics, and monitoring of the platform
- Collaborate with all areas of the business on their data needs
- Lead adoption of new technologies and technical improvements
Requirements For Senior Staff Data Engineer
- 6+ years of strong data engineering design/development experience
- Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka, or Kinesis
- Proficiency with dbt and data modeling, especially incremental models
- Experience architecting and implementing data ingestion platforms
- Experience in technical leadership for data architectures
- Experience with both structured and unstructured datasets
- Deep experience with workflow management systems
- Required to work on-site 5x a week in Miami office
