Description For Support Engineer

Kandji, a rapidly growing Apple device management and security platform, is seeking a Support Engineer to join their team in Miami. This role is crucial in providing world-class support to customers implementing Kandji's enterprise-ready endpoint solutions. As a Support Engineer, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers, handling technical support via chat, email, and video conferences. The role requires deep knowledge of Apple ecosystems (macOS, iOS, iPadOS) and MDM solutions. You'll work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues and contribute to product improvement through customer feedback.

The position demands 3+ years of IT administration experience, strong technical skills including shell scripting, and excellent communication abilities. You'll work in-office Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST, supporting customers across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities For Support Engineer

  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with customers via chat, email, and video conferences
  • Own customer communications from initial contact until resolution
  • Influence support processes and shape the tone of Kandji's customer support
  • Be an encyclopedia of knowledge about how Kandji works
  • Funnel customer feedback to product and engineering teams
  • Ensure excellent customer experience through personalized support
  • Work directly with engineering team to identify and resolve issues

Requirements For Support Engineer

Linux
  • 3+ years of work experience in an IT administrator role
  • Excellent understanding of Apple macOS, iOS, and iPadOS
  • Experience managing Apple specific Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
  • Experience meeting SLAs
  • Familiarity with shell scripting and macOS command line
  • Great problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to rapidly switch gears across tools
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence
