We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer with hands-on experience using the Databricks platform to join our collaborative team of six, led by the Head of Data & Analytics. As a Data Engineer on our team, you'll work hands-on across all parts of the data engineering lifecycle, from data ingestion to transformation and optimization. You'll have the freedom to explore and optimize all areas of our data pipeline, ensuring end-to-end quality, efficiency, and innovation in everything we deliver.

Requirements For Data Engineer (Databricks)

Python
  • Experience working with Databricks and a strong understanding of lakehouse architecture
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark, with a strong ability to write efficient, clean, and optimized code
  • A collaborative spirit and the drive to work in a high-tempo, agile team where adaptability is key
  • Curiosity and a desire to grow in the data engineering field; experience or interest in AI/ML is a big plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering or data science
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and intermediate knowledge of Python
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Databricks
  • Familiarity with Medallion architecture
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficient in Git version control and data modeling techniques (e.g., Kimball/Star schema)
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processing
