Senior Android Engineer

As a Senior Android Engineer at KAYAK, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, developing and maintaining large-scale, consumer-facing mobile applications. You'll architect innovative features, maintain high code quality standards, collaborate across teams, and write thorough tests to ensure product excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting and developing innovative features
• Maintaining high standards for code, features, and products
• Cross-team collaboration to improve products and technologies
• Writing comprehensive tests for code and product quality

We're looking for candidates with:

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale, consumer-facing mobile applications
• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android Framework
• Strong English communication skills
• Proficiency in scalable application infrastructure
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of UX best practices
• Ability to create simple solutions for complex problems
• Experience with high-quality unit, UI, and integration tests
• Capability to thrive in a hybrid working model
