Build Engineer

Keeper is hiring a talented Build Engineer to join our DevOps team. This can be a 100% remote position from select locations with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area.

As a Build Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the build processes to ensure continuous, stable, and efficient software delivery. You will work with the DevOps team to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot build pipelines, focusing on scalability, automation, and security best practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the entire software development build infrastructure
• Ensuring high uptime and availability of all software build system resources
• Managing and controlling build systems privileged access
• Supporting security audits and ensuring compliance coverage
• Maintaining and building out build automation infrastructure
• Identifying and implementing automation opportunities
• Working closely with Development, Product, and security teams
• Monitoring build performance and troubleshooting issues
• Staying current on industry trends, especially within cybersecurity and DevOps

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Build Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficient experience with build systems such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Gradle
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux
• Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language
• Knowledge of basic Network Security concepts and technologies
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
