Keeper Security, a leading cybersecurity company trusted globally, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for their AI & Threat Analytics team. This 100% remote position offers hybrid options in El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL. The role focuses on developing advanced ML systems for threat detection, anomaly detection, and risk assessment in privileged access management (PAM). You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including LLMs and vision-based ML systems to analyze user behavior and detect threats. The position involves building scalable data pipelines, implementing sophisticated ML models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Keeper Security's platform is used by millions globally, offering solutions in password management, secrets management, and encrypted messaging. The company operates on zero-trust and zero-knowledge security principles, providing solutions in 21 languages across 120+ countries. This role is crucial in advancing Keeper's security capabilities through AI and machine learning innovations.

Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer, Threat Detection

  • Develop and implement machine learning models for threat detection, anomaly detection, and risk assessment in PAM
  • Build scalable pipelines to process and analyze data from Keeper's ARAM platform
  • Design and optimize LLM-based solutions to summarize user activity
  • Fine-tune and monitor models to improve detection accuracy
  • Implement video/image processing techniques to identify anomalous patterns
  • Collaborate with security, DevOps, and engineering teams
  • Write clean, maintainable code and provide documentation
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize models in production

Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer, Threat Detection

Python
  • 3+ years of professional experience in machine learning research or development
  • Strong programming skills in Python or similar language
  • Experience with anomaly detection, risk modeling, and behavior analysis
  • Proficiency with ML frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience using LLMs and video/image processing tools
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, or related
  • Must be a US Person due to GovCloud involvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
