As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing and executing automated test scripts using the Cypress framework, ensuring the quality and functionality of web applications. You'll work with cross-functional teams to implement effective test automation strategies and maintain test suites that align with application updates.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of programming experience with Java, JavaScript, and Python, along with strong knowledge of Cypress and testing frameworks. You'll be responsible for end-to-end testing, defect tracking, and process automation, while collaborating with software engineers to optimize development.

Responsibilities For QA Automation Engineer
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Cypress framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement test automation strategies
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites
- Identify, record, and track software defects
- Perform end-to-end testing for web applications
- Analyze test results and generate reports
- Integrate manual test paths using API scripts
- Participate in code reviews
- Work with software engineers to optimize automation development
Requirements For QA Automation Engineer
- 3+ years of programming experience with Java, JavaScript and Python
- Knowledge with Cypress and dashboards
- Strong problem solver with focus on code design, quality and architecture
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL server, MySQL)
- Experience with other testing frameworks or tools (Selenium, Mocha, Jest) is a plus
