Description For Sales Engineer, APAC

Keeper Security is hiring an experienced Sales Engineer to join our APAC B2B sales team for their Tokyo, Japan office. As an Enterprise Sales Engineer, you will support the pre-sales and post-sales cycle from a technical perspective, working alongside the Keeper Security sales force. Your responsibilities include identifying technical requirements, matching them to Keeper Security solutions, and supporting sales by positioning and demonstrating product differences. You'll provide product trials and evaluations to partners, assist with implementation and integration, and offer level-2 technical assistance to existing customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing pre-sales technical support for Keeper products
  • Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Collaborating with product development and engineering teams
  • Addressing technical questions and concerns during the sales process
  • Communicating in Japanese and English, both verbally and in writing
  • Staying informed about industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Creating and delivering technical product presentations to partners and customers
  • Contributing to achieving revenue targets as part of the sales team

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical role
  • Native level Japanese language proficiency
  • Strong experience with Windows/Active Directory administration and knowledge of UNIX/Linux
  • Technical background in networking, security applications, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English
  • Industry recognized certifications
  • PAM Scripting and DevOps experience
  • Exposure to Identity Providers like Azure and Okta
  • Experience with cybersecurity solutions or IAM
