Keeper Security, a leading cybersecurity company, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their DevOps team. This role can be fully remote or hybrid for candidates near El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL. As an SRE, you'll be crucial in ensuring system reliability, availability, and performance. You'll work with Information Security and DevOps teams to build and maintain scalable infrastructure, focusing on CI/CD and deployment operations. The role involves managing infrastructure automation, supporting security audits, and maintaining monitoring systems.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of relevant experience and strong expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure automation. You'll need proficiency in Linux systems, scripting languages, and monitoring tools. Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure and tools for CI/CD and reliable software deployment
- Ensure high availability and performance of production systems
- Manage infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes
- Support security audits and compliance efforts
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and release pipelines
- Troubleshoot system performance and reliability issues
- Create and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
- Promote culture of reliability and define reliability goals
Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Strong understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
- Solid experience with Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows systems
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
