Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure and tools for CI/CD and software deployment
  • Ensure high availability and performance of production systems
  • Manage infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes
  • Support security audits and compliance efforts
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and release pipelines
  • Troubleshoot system performance and reliability issues
  • Create and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
  • Promote culture of reliability and define reliability goals
  • Stay up to date with industry trends in cloud infrastructure

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer

  • 8+ years of experience as SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Strong understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
  • Experience with Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows systems
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
  • In-depth knowledge of networking and security best practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
