Responsibilities For Customer Service Engineer (System Administrator) (ESOM)

  • Installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of computer systems
  • Deliver remote and desk-side technical support
  • Set up and maintain user accounts
  • Maintain Active Directory and system accounts
  • Monitor tickets in VA's ServiceNow system
  • Support connectivity and client applications
  • Configure and support local and wide area network services
  • Implement corrective actions for customer issues

Requirements For Customer Service Engineer (System Administrator) (ESOM)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline
  • 2+ years of relevant Experience
  • Experience in conducting routine system administration tasks
  • Knowledge of debugging protocols and processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Understanding of Windows system administration
  • Physical capability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • US Citizen or Green card holder
  • Willing to get a Public Trust Suitability clearance
