Description For DevOps Engineer/Cloud Engineer

Keyrock, a rapidly growing fintech company founded in 2017, is seeking a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer to coordinate the growth of their infrastructure. As a leading European creator of algorithmic trading technology in the digital asset space, Keyrock operates on over 80 exchanges and serves numerous marketplaces and asset issuers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating modern cloud-native distributed systems and a solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, Automated Testing, Containerization, Container Orchestration, and Platform Engineering. The role involves architecting, designing, implementing, maintaining, and owning end-to-end cloud infrastructure environments, deployment pipelines, databases, datastores, clusters, and running instances.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building, scaling, and architecting infrastructure for systems processing millions of orders daily
  • Identifying deficiencies and proposing infrastructure improvements
  • Simplifying and automating releases across multiple environments
  • Enhancing security of environments
  • Monitoring infrastructure health and improving availability and reliability
  • Planning for system failure/recovery and disaster recovery
  • Developing custom tooling for Self-Service Infrastructure components

Required skills and experience:

  • Linux administration, networking, security, and clustering
  • Containerization (Docker) & Orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  • Configuration Management (preferably Ansible)
  • 2+ years experience in operating distributed systems
  • 2+ years experience with Cloud Providers (ideally AWS)
  • 3+ years experience in automation tasks
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
