Senior Quality Engineer

This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of web-based educational products used by schools and learners worldwide. The ideal candidate will engage in both manual testing and test automation, working closely with cross-functional teams to advocate for exceptional user experiences throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing manual test plans for new features
• Building and maintaining test automation to fill coverage gaps
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners throughout the software development lifecycle
• Using creativity and knowledge of testing tools to find, document, and track bugs
• Contributing to engineering guilds and organizational affinity groups

The role requires:

• Proven experience in software product testing and test automation
• Proficiency in test automation tools like Cypress
• Strong manual testing skills
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
• Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines
