KIHOMAC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their Integrated Solutions Group (ISG) in Layton, Utah. This role focuses on advanced systems engineering for military and aircraft applications, combining traditional systems engineering with modern MBSE approaches. Responsibilities For Senior Systems Engineer
- Perform technical analysis related to systems design and development
- Conduct tasks associated with systems engineering life cycle and DoD design review process
- Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques
- Support systems analysis with simulation techniques
- Follow, perform, and record test plan execution results
- Make recommendations on technical alternatives and component design
- Collaborate with leadership at all levels
- Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external
- Perform duties under supervision of staff and chief engineers
- Mentor less experienced engineers
Requirements For Senior Systems Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited institution in relevant engineering or science discipline
- Master's Degree preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Familiarity with systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred
- Background in developing/testing aircraft and military components preferred
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
