As a Backend Engineer at Kitman Labs, you'll be responsible for building the core data-flows of our products, focusing on security, privacy, robustness, and performance. You'll work on APIs and data processing pipelines handling massive amounts of data from sports teams globally. Collaborating with our Data Science team, you'll build and maintain data models at the cutting edge of injury risk prevention technology.
We're seeking candidates with a strong background or interest in building successful products, comfortable with complex systems, and open to new technologies. You should be detail-oriented yet pragmatic, with a focus on continuous improvement of our engineering processes, standards, and tooling.

We're looking for experience in building APIs or dynamic web applications, ability to learn new technologies quickly, and a commitment to high-quality, standardized, fully tested code delivered in a CI/CD environment. While we primarily use Ruby, we value your ability to learn over specific language experience.
