Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Tester to join our team to work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout our software development lifecycle, to help us assess & improve our software quality through manual and automated testing. As a QA Tester in Kitman Labs, you will use your attention to detail and passion for quality to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans that will deliver robust systems to our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working directly with Engineering and Product to deliver high-quality features
• Participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Executing test cases and analyzing results
• Identifying test scenarios based on requirements
• Developing and agreeing test plans with product and engineering leadership
• Reviewing test results and providing feedback
• Identifying software bugs and providing analysis to drive quality

Required skills:

• Strong focus on quality with attention to detail
• Knowledge of the SDLC
• Experience with Agile testing methodologies
• Proficiency in creating, executing, and managing test cases and test plans
• Understanding of various testing types
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA

Nice to have skills include familiarity with Agile frameworks, automation testing, ISTQB Foundation level certification, and knowledge of databases and SQL.
