Responsibilities For CSS/HTML Front-End Developer - Compliance Courseware

  • Design and develop JavaScript and CSS solutions and templates for online courses, assessments, games, and other tools
  • Coordinate with Engineering team on course building requirements
  • Work with graphics team to replicate design documents in HTML/CSS
  • Ensure content is WCAG 2.1 compliant for accessibility
  • Collaborate on establishing course building best practices
  • Create and support diverse, equitable, and inclusive content

Requirements For CSS/HTML Front-End Developer - Compliance Courseware

  • B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or Digital Design (or comparable work experience)
  • 5+ years of HTML/CSS frontend development experience
  • 2+ years experience with software development cycle
  • Skilled in HTML5, CSS3 & OO JavaScript
  • Experience with jQuery Mobile, React, VueJS, Bulma, and/or Bootstrap
  • Experience with Web Accessibility Standards (WCAG)
  • Experience with optimizing graphics for web
  • Experience with SCORM, LTI, and xAPI is highly desirable
  • Experience with web development for iOS, Android, and mobile platforms
