KnowBe4, a leading provider of security awareness training and simulated phishing platforms, is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial in managing and maintaining the infrastructure where their products operate, focusing on deploying and supporting infrastructure hosted in Azure and AWS cloud environments.

As an SRE, you'll be responsible for transforming code from Development teams into production-ready infrastructure, ensuring security and maintaining updates. The role involves creating infrastructure diagrams, writing infrastructure as code, and deploying pipelines for applications. You'll be part of a team providing 24/7/365 support, managing everything from single servers to large server clusters.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cloud services, infrastructure as code, and automation tools. Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Manage and maintain environments to ensure high availability and security
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, using observability tools
  • Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure efforts
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions
  • Manage AWS/Azure services, including ECS/Container Apps, S3/blob storage
  • Participate in incident response, conducting root cause analysis
  • Automate manual tasks to improve operational efficiency

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or 3+ years equivalent experience)
  • Expertise in designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure services
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or other observability platforms
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
  • Ability to lead incident response efforts
  • Strong interpersonal skills
