Middle Back-End Software Engineer - Ruby/Rails

As a Middle Back-End Software Engineer, you will:

• Work directly with leadership and the product team to make decisions about your code and the future of the product.
• Contribute to building a complex ecommerce marketplace, the first of its kind in the Chemicals space.
• Emphasize shipping features quickly without sacrificing code quality.
• Own projects from software design to implementation and deployment.
• Implement cutting-edge technologies and write state-of-the-art code.
• Emphasize simplicity and pragmatism in your elegant code.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Ruby language and Rails framework (3+ years)
• Strong understanding of SQL
• Ability to take tasks from requirements to deployment
• Experience working within distributed, multidisciplinary teams
• Skills in designing and building scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs
• High attention to detail
• Ability to properly design and implement clear and scalable project structure
• Experience with test-driven development
• Fluent in speaking and writing English
• Fluent Polish is a must
