Responsibilities For Staff Software Engineer, Simulation
- Own the integration between simulation platform and autonomy stack
- Engineer novel ways of testing and evaluating algorithms
- Lead development of new features to improve simulation fidelity
- Implement novel evaluation metrics for self-driving stack
- Write maintainable, clear, and concise code
- Coordinate with external partners for new features integration
Requirements For Staff Software Engineer, Simulation
- BS, MS, PhD or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science or related engineering field
- At least 5 years of experience writing production-level C++ code
- High standards for software quality and rigor
- Testing-oriented mentality
