Software Engineer, Microservices (Typescript)

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining microservices that power Kong Konnect, the Service Connectivity Platform.

As a Software Engineer, you'll work closely with Engineering and Product Management teams to develop software components that will significantly impact customer's and Kong's business. You'll be involved in complex product integration efforts as the company continues to develop its suite of products.

Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining services like identity, search, and provisioning, designing solutions to moderately complex technical problems, supporting services in production through an on-call rotation, writing automated tests, and mentoring team members.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in developing complex software solutions, expertise in Typescript and JavaScript, and experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems. You should also be proficient in API design, data modeling, containerization, and test-driven development.
