Description For Deep Learning Engineer/Researcher

KRAFTON's Deep Learning Division is at the forefront of integrating AI technology with game development. Established in 2021, the division focuses on expanding gaming capabilities through deep learning research and development. The team works on four main directions: Production Cost Down (optimizing game development processes), New Way to Create (expanding creative possibilities with generative AI), Virtual Friends (developing AI-based virtual companions), and Unique, Endless Gameplay (creating infinitely variable gaming experiences).

The division conducts research in Language Models, Voice Synthesis, Vision & Animation, Reinforcement Learning, and Data-centric AI. They're particularly focused on developing both large-scale and lightweight models, along with multimodal systems that combine various technological elements. The team culture promotes open communication regardless of age or position, embracing diverse cultural backgrounds and providing language support for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities For Deep Learning Engineer/Researcher

  • Solve various gaming-related problems using Language Models as Agents
  • Implement Action Planning, Chatbot, and Translation solutions
  • Stay current with latest technology trends applicable to the gaming industry
  • (Engineer) Develop tools/plugins for Agent implementation
  • (Researcher) Conduct research in AI Agent, Small Language Model, Multilingual, Knowledge Distillation, Fast Decoding

Requirements For Deep Learning Engineer/Researcher

Python
  • Effective communication skills
  • Understanding and experience with Large Language Models like GPT
  • English reading proficiency sufficient for understanding AI technology
  • (Engineer) Experience developing NLP/chatbot tools and plugins using C++, C#, Python
  • (Researcher) Master's degree or equivalent research experience in ML-related field
  • No restrictions on international travel
  • Must be eligible to work in South Korea
