Description For Deep Learning Platform Engineer

KRAFTON's Deep Learning Division is at the forefront of innovation in the gaming industry, focusing on applying AI and deep learning technologies to revolutionize game development and player experiences. Established in 2021, the division is actively investing in core talent to expand their game development capabilities through deep learning research and applications.

The team works on four main directions: Production Cost Down (optimizing game development processes), New Way to Create (expanding creative possibilities through generative AI), Virtual Friends (developing AI-based virtual characters), and Unique, Endless Gameplay (creating infinitely variable gaming experiences).

As a Deep Learning Platform Engineer, you'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including Language Models, Voice Synthesis, Vision & Animation, Reinforcement Learning, and Data-centric AI. The role involves developing and integrating these technologies into actual game development environments to innovate workflow experiences and expand creative possibilities.

Responsibilities For Deep Learning Platform Engineer

  • Design, develop, and operate platform services that utilize deep learning technology to streamline game production
  • Design deployment and operation processes for projects
  • Maintain and update existing services
  • Track and share new technology trends in deep learning
  • Communicate with PM team regarding service development/operation schedules
  • Create technical documentation for service development
  • Manage communication about service development direction with upper management

Requirements For Deep Learning Platform Engineer

Kubernetes
  • 3+ years of development experience
  • Experience in designing and operating AI-enabled services from design to operation (including incident response)
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems independently
  • Strong understanding of development requirements specifications
  • Knowledge of Cloud, Container Orchestration Tools, and CI/CD
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Understanding of deep learning technology concepts
