KRAFTON is seeking an Engine Engineer (Senior/Junior) for their Art R&D Department. The Visual R&D department is responsible for supporting R&D tasks for KRAFTON's development studios, allowing them to focus on game development. They are also conducting several R&D projects using advanced graphic technology to contribute to next-gen graphic technology development.
The team contributes to the production efficiency of development studios by researching and supporting high-quality art production based on optimization. They are also building a track record of investigating AI-based automation tools and pipelines in advance and disseminating them to productions.

Responsibilities:
- Low-level analysis of UE5 features and related plugins required for R&D
- Support and development of R&D tasks through modification and supplementation of UE5 source code
- Support and development of workflow and tool design related to R&D tasks (for internal distribution and support)
Requirements (Senior):
- Solid knowledge and extensive experience with Unreal Engine and C++/C
- Deep understanding and ability to utilize data structures and mathematics
- Understanding of UE5 rendering pipeline
- Experience in performance improvement through graphics and rendering-related optimization
Requirements (Junior):
- Solid knowledge of C++/C
- Understanding of data structures and mathematics
- Understanding of Unreal Engine 5
Common Requirements:
- Ability to proceed with R&D tasks based on coordination and respect for opinions within the team
- Flexible personality and smooth communication skills to continue collaboration with relevant departments
- No disqualification for overseas travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in understanding and modifying PCG-related systems according to project goals
- Experience in implementing character customization systems
- Experience in console project development or release
- Experience in conducting in-depth R&D in specific areas related to client or rendering
- Knowledge of DCC tools such as Max, Maya, and experience in script and automation production
- Fluent English communication skills
