Description For LLM Game Agent Research Engineer

KRAFTON is seeking a talented LLM Game Agent Research Engineer to join their Deep Learning Division. This role is at the intersection of gaming and artificial intelligence, focusing on developing autonomous game agents using Large Language Models (LLM) and specialized Language Models (sLM).

The position is part of KRAFTON's strategic initiative in deep learning, which began in 2021. The Deep Learning Division collaborates across various departments to provide AI solutions and develop proprietary deep learning technologies. The team specifically focuses on two main directions: increasing game development efficiency through deep learning technologies and developing unique deep learning applications for both in-game and external use.

As an LLM Game Agent Research Engineer, you'll be working on cutting-edge research in NLP, Vision & Animation, STT/TTS, and Reinforcement Learning. The role involves developing game agents that can autonomously interact with users, provide strategic gameplay, and enhance player experience in real-time gaming environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in AI or Computer Science (Master's or ongoing PhD), hands-on experience with LLM/sLM implementations, and proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, and C. Experience with PyTorch and other deep learning frameworks is essential.

Working at KRAFTON means joining a diverse, collaborative team where cross-functional interaction is encouraged. The company actively supports breaking down language barriers and promotes open communication among team members from various cultural backgrounds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI in gaming while working with a leading global gaming company.
