DevOps Engineer III

Notably, we were the first to introduce BNPL on Amazon Mexico.

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer III to join our Infrastructure Engineering and CI/CD teams. This role is responsible for enabling product Software Development teams to efficiently launch their services and applications into cloud environments while ensuring that Security and Architectural standards are met. You'll work closely with other engineers to understand and improve their workflows without burdening them with infrastructure details and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote technical excellence and help the team thrive
• Build and scale products using different technologies and cloud computing
• Support the team in building medium to high complexity projects
• Design and implement solutions for problems
• Write software to achieve business and team goals
• Fix bugs and resolve incidents
• Mentor and support other Software Engineers
• Ensure the team remains focused on project objectives
• Participate in early discussions for medium to complex projects

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in programming
• Experience with software design patterns
• Understanding of relational databases
• Experience with API integration, design, and building
• Experience deploying and maintaining software products in production
• Experience with at least one architectural pattern (e.g., MVC)

Nice to have:

• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Experience with AWS
