R&D Embedded System Engineer (Firmware / Hardware)

Kynze is a rapidly growing electronic design company specializing in the electronic/embedded software integration of custom-made, modular, and reliable 4D vision and real-time environment perception solutions.

As an Embedded Systems Software Engineer (Firmware), you will be responsible for developing and optimizing embedded software for our products. You will work closely with our hardware and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software.

Your hardware development knowledge will be greatly appreciated to complement and assist hardware engineers. You will have the opportunity to actively participate in product architecture during its development.

Your work will involve testing and validating firmware for various devices while documenting each step according to our internal protocols. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of our processes.

Technical Skills Required:

• Solid experience in firmware development for microcontrollers
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, and Python
• Understanding of Zephyr operating systems
• Experience with communication protocols such as LTE, BLE, GPS, WIFI
• Ability to work with development tools (IDE, debugging) and electronic test equipment
• Experience in deploying IoT solutions is an asset

Communication Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines

Language Requirements:

• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Fluency in French is desirable and will be strongly recommended
