Lead Full Stack Developer (Analytics)

Later is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer (Analytics) to join their team in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This role combines hands-on technical work with people management for a small team of developers. The primary focus will be on technical planning, resource allocation, project delivery, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA developers throughout the software development lifecycle
• Champion software development best practices and coach developers
• Write and review technical designs, manage dependencies with other teams
• Write clean, efficient, scalable, secure, and tested code
• Monitor product performance and propose improvements
• Mentor team members, conduct 1-on-1 meetings, and perform biannual reviews

The Analytics team focuses on social media analytics, brand campaign reports, and ROI calculations. They manage analytics data storage and amalgamation across platforms.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software developer
• 2+ years as a senior software developer
• 1+ years leading a team of 3 or more developers
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Express.js, Node.js, and NestJS
• SQL proficiency and understanding of NoSQL databases
• Experience with large data models and Google Cloud BigQuery or AWS Redshift
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
