Description For Senior Firmware Integration & Test Engineer, Benches

As a Senior Firmware Integration & Test Engineer for Benches at Latitude AI, you'll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for building and maintaining the bench ecosystem, facilitating automated test workflows, developing test plans, building test tooling, and executing design verification plans. You'll work on next-generation test bench architectures, develop continuous integration pipelines, troubleshoot complex hardware and software integration issues, and collaborate with various stakeholders to accomplish test objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of next-generation test bench architectures and designs
  • Developing and improving continuous integration pipelines and failure reporting
  • Troubleshooting complex hardware and software system integration issues
  • Developing and maintaining test asset software tools and infrastructure
  • Maintaining test asset requirements, configuration, and reliability processes
  • Mentoring junior engineers and leading technical projects and initiatives

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of technical experience
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++ programming languages
  • Experience with Jenkins pipelines and troubleshooting software build, deployment, and test failures in embedded systems
  • Knowledge of low-level communication interfaces and protocols (e.g., I2C, UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet)
  • Experience working with Embedded Linux
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Support the development of next generation test bench architectures and designs
  • Develop, improve and support continuous integration pipelines and failure reporting
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware and software system integration issues
