Latitude Inc is seeking an AV Field Engineer to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of commercial AV systems at client sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with AV equipment, and excellent customer service skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing and configuring AV systems, including projectors, screens, audio systems, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
- Collaborating with clients and project managers to ensure installations meet specifications and quality standards.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with AV systems in a timely manner.
- Performing routine maintenance and upgrades on existing AV equipment.
- Conducting thorough testing of systems post-installation to ensure functionality and performance.
- Providing clients with training on system operation and best practices.
- Maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
- Providing feedback and insights to project managers on project progress and client satisfaction.
Requirements for this position:
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification is required.
- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of commercial AV systems.
- Strong understanding of audio, video, and control system technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving AV-related issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
