Description For Cybersecurity Engineer (Clearance)

Join our team as a Cybersecurity Engineer where you'll serve as a crucial cyber subject matter expert for Army and DoD systems. This role combines technical expertise in cyber security with hands-on implementation of security frameworks and tools. You'll be responsible for supporting the Risk Management Framework Cloud process, developing critical security documentation, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies while supporting national defense infrastructure. You'll be part of a collaborative team environment, working directly with stakeholders to architect and implement security solutions. Responsibilities For Cybersecurity Engineer (Clearance)

  • Serve as a cyber subject matter expert
  • Provide cyber system architecture and engineering expertise
  • Support the Risk Management Framework Cloud (RMFc) process
  • Review and make recommendations of customer RMFc documentation
  • Support business continuity activities
  • Monitor and analyze potential threat activity
  • Provide engineering support, operations, and maintenance of security tools
  • Run vulnerability and patching reports
  • Develop security artifacts including System Security Plans
  • Review vulnerability scan results and implement mitigations

Requirements For Cybersecurity Engineer (Clearance)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT related field
  • Active IAM III certification
  • 7+ years professional experience in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Army, DoD, or IC at the Headquarters level
  • Active SECRET clearance (or higher)
  • Strong working knowledge of large, complex IT environments
  • Strong technical writing expertise
  • Expert ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience implementing solutions in similar sized organizations
