We are seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to join our team in a contract-to-hire position. This role focuses on developing and maintaining Drupal-based Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS). The ideal candidate will possess Acquia Drupal 8 certification or higher and have extensive experience in Drupal development.

Responsibilities For Drupal Developer

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Drupal-based web applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features for LMS or CMS platforms
  • Customize and configure Drupal modules to meet specific project requirements
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services with Drupal applications
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of existing Drupal-based solutions
  • Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards and government regulations (e.g., Section 508, WCAG)
  • Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and provide knowledge sharing with team members

Requirements For Drupal Developer

PHP
  • Acquia Drupal 8 certification or higher (e.g., Site Builder, Developer, or Back-End Specialist)
  • Proven experience developing with Drupal 8 or later, including custom module and theme development
  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Drupal's API, hook system, and configuration management
  • Hands-on experience with LMS or CMS platforms
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and web services
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience working on government contracts or projects (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Acquia Cloud Platform and related tools (preferred)
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as Section 508 and WCAG (preferred)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (preferred)
