Junior C++ Software Engineer

Join our development team as a Junior Software Engineer specializing in C++ and Linux development. This role offers an opportunity to work on critical government contract projects while collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance software applications that power our systems.

The position is initially a 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity, requiring an active US Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one. US Citizenship is mandatory due to government contract regulations. You'll be working in our McLean, VA office, where you'll engage in various aspects of software development, from writing clean, efficient code to participating in code reviews and implementing new features.

As part of our team, you'll work in a Linux environment, utilizing C++ to develop robust solutions. You'll follow best practices in software development, including version control with Git and agile methodologies. This role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $42 to $46 per hour ($87,360 - $95,680 annually).
