We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead for a high-priority Cloud-based data management platform within a secure government environment. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with 80% remote work and 20% on-site presence for client meetings in secured facilities.

The ideal candidate will lead a cross-functional team while ensuring compliance with security protocols. You'll be responsible for guiding technical strategy, architecture, and design for cloud-based data solutions, working with cutting-edge technologies in a secure environment. The role involves overseeing System-of-Systems (SOS) data architectures, implementing data pipelines, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards.

Key technical areas include cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), data engineering, and security compliance (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP). You'll work closely with government clients, program managers, and various stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions. Responsibilities For Lead Cloud Engineer (Clearance)

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of data engineers, application developers, software architects, and UI/UX developers
  • Foster effective communication and ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams
  • Design and implement System-of-Systems (SOS) data architectures using existing Army data platforms
  • Oversee data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions development
  • Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP, and other government regulations
  • Collaborate with program managers, business analysts, and government clients
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and identify performance bottlenecks
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation

Requirements For Lead Cloud Engineer (Clearance)

  • Active SECRET Clearance with ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud computing, with 3+ years in leadership
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) in government environment
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native data technologies
  • Expertise in data pipelines, data warehousing, and data lakes
  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices and data governance
